The key different here is that most of the statistics that you (and most people) will look at are not what you would call ‘actionable metrics’. Instead, they are what’s called ‘vanity metrics’, which are things that can tell us how well our site is doing but have little relation to how much money we are making and they are things that are almo0st entirely useless to us, since we can’t act upon them.
