CTR for Bing higher than Google
This is interesting, I stumbled it on my news feed. It is said that Bing user are likely to click the ads more than Google.

An anonymous reader writes, “Techcrunch is running a story that shows some pretty significant differences in the clicking habits of users of Yahoo, Google, and Bing. As it turns out, folks who arrive at websites via Bing are 55% more likely to click on an ad than if they arrived from Google (data based on the Chitika network). Essentially, people who use Bing are far more susceptible to advertising. Bing has acquired a decent market share in such a short time, but could it just be that they’ve reaped the low hanging fruit of those particularly persuaded by advertising? When their huge marketing campaign winds down, what kind of staying power will it have?”
What are its implication? Well surely this will attract more advertisers to Bing as they sees it higher ROI and quality in their advertising campaign.
But then again Google beats Bing hands down in terms of overall impression still. Bing has still lots to catch on the Google advertising front. Give it time is all we can hope for, and the Yahoo! Microsoft pact might just bolster Bing more search engine ad market perhaps.
All we publisher want is a more competitive online advertising market, with alternatives other than Google, that will make us more moolasss!
