Well, I am pleased and proud to announce that the seemingly neverending battle with lights, wasps and the oft-cruel self timer have finally produced my lovely new Gallery; a week has been spent cropping, resizing, relighting and otherwise spit-and-polishing my new pictures and the results can be seen over on the main site as of last Sunday evening!

by Paul Garnett Mexico’s world-class tourist destination, Cabo San Lucas, was said to be a pirates’ haven some thousand years ago. In the early 1900s, small groups of fishers come to Cabo to fish. Later on, groups of Americans come to the place and put up a fishing platform, until years later, a company named Compania de Productos Marinos was built in the place. This has led to the increase in the number of people living in Cabo San Lucas. Even with the fishing company built in the place, there were still a few people in Cabo then.

We were delighted by a visit from our friends Nick and Zaida last weekend and on their suggestion, decided to visit Phillip Island to see the little Penguins . It is a big tourist attraction for Melbourne visitors and something we hadn’t got round to doing yet. With a cold winter’s day forecast of rain and strong winds, we decided to forge on and make the best of it. Amazingly, the rain stopped every time we ventured out and then came down again when we were inside or driving and the wind wasn’t too bad on the island.
