How To Increase Affiliate Marketing Conversions Using A BlogIn my previous article I showed you how to increase affiliate marketing conversions by creating online videos. In this article I want to show you how using a blog can help increase your affiliate marketing conversions. If you have started to follow my advice with creating online videos, it kind of helps to have a place to host them.

A personal blog is a great place for housing your online videos. A blog can also serve as the core or nucleus to your overall affiliate marketing business. In this article I want to offer you some advice on why using a blog can help you towards running a very efficient and profitable affiliate marketing business.

A blog acts as a central point to your online presence. It is the hub station to everything you do online. All in all, a blog is a very powerful control panel for everything you do online. With affiliate marketing, a blog is a place that you can use to socialize with previous and future customers and it is a place that you can use to make friends who are also people that will eventually purchase something from you in the near future.

A blog has natural built in tools that enable you to channel friendships and acquaintances. For instance, most all blog platforms such as WordPress offer an automatic RSS feed syndication. This is a great feature because people who visit your blog can instantly subscribe to your RSS feed and have your new content delivered directly to them immediately after you publish it. If you have a lot of subscribers to your blog, you will notice that bursts of traffic flood into your blog quickly after you publish new content.

A blog is a great place to also promote a mailing list. If you have been into affiliate marketing for even a short period of time, you have learned by now that the money is in the list. People refer to “The List” as in the email list. The more people that you have subscribed on you mailing list, the higher the odds are for you with increasing the number of sales you receive.

But how do you get people to subscribe to your blog RSS feed and how do you use your blog to get people to subscribe to your email mailing list? Well, that can be done, once again, using your blog. The blog offers you a publishing system that allows you to create amazing and high quality article content that appeals to and targets people. Your content should be written in a way that captures visitors interest, from there they will want to read more and subscribe.

Use your blog to help people. One of the most common failures I see happen with affiliate marketers who start blogging is that they use their blog to do nothing more than promote product after product after product. People don’t want to constantly be sold to. They want and need help. If you run your blog in a way that gives people the perception that you want to help them, you will win their hearts.

My advice to you is for every ONE post you write on your blog that promotes an affiliate product or service, you should then post NINE posts after it that offers nothing but your pure advice towards helping your readers advance in their learning. After you run a post that pitches a product, your next few articles should be related to the product that you pitched. It should provide advice, examples and tips on how to be successful with the product that you pitched.

Your next few articles prior to pitching the upcoming product or service should be content that plants the seed or leads into a solution towards the problem. As you know, the solution is always in the product you want to offer. After you pitch the product, the cycle repeats itself.

At all times you have to make yourself accessible to the general public. You have to answer emails, you have to contribute on other blogs and social networks. Long story short, you have to engage into your online community and make a name for yourself. However, and once again, a blog is a place that can become the core or nucleus to everything you do online.

I hope that you found this article to be helpful. How can I help you advance further in your education and learning towards becoming a successful affiliate marketer? Share your feedback, opinions and thoughts in the comments below.
